As the son of an commercial photographer, Shaheen grew up with cameras and photographic equipment but wanted
to be a race car driver, or a car designer. Eventually, he graduated in advertising & design from the Wigan & Leigh College, Bangalore (2006) and studied Photography at the Light & Life Academy, Ooty (2007).

This set him on a journey that covered a range of people, objects and spaces with his lens - from gritty industrial settings to neat police parades, from larger-than-life movies to intricate jewellery. It’s also kept him close to his first love, automobiles. At the end of the day, Shaheen recognises that his work as a commercial photographer is about something more than passion. It’s about creative collaboration and hard team-work. He’s currently based in
Dubai and India, but is available for projects around the world.
